Overview
For the 2026 Athletics Day of Giving (ADOG), I led the creative direction and production of a six-video campaign designed to engage alumni athletes, current student-athletes family & friends, and the broader Wooster community in support of Wooster Athletics.
This campaign was built to scale across multiple platforms — social media, email, and web — while maintaining a consistent emotional tone centered on impact and graditude.
The challenge wasn’t just storytelling — it was execution. With a small student team, limited timelines, 35 on-screen participants, overlapping campaign priorities, we set out to concept, film, and deliver six distinct but connected video pieces within a single production window.

1. Alumni Athlete Feature — Cole Hissong '22
A high-impact storytelling piece focused on personal experience from a very recent alum, speaking on the long-term value of Wooster Athletics.

2. Alumni Athlete Feature — Carolyn Strunk
Focused on legacy, continued involvement, and the ongoing relationship between alumni and the institution. Highlights her daughter, Maggie Layne '28, a current Wooster Women's Swimmer.

3. Alumni Couple Feature — Alison Hitchcock-Schmidt '75 & Troy Schmidt '75
A 50 year love story highlighting shared experience and generational connection to Wooster Athletics.

4. Student Athlete “Hot Mic” Series
A fast-paced, social-first concept capturing candid, unscripted responses from 23 current student-athletes, one from each Men and Women's sports.
Designed specifically for vertical platforms and engagement.

5. Coaches Feature Video
Focused on mentorship, leadership, and the direct impact of donor support on student-athlete development.

6. Lynn Holleran Thank You Video (Athletic Director)
A direct-to-camera message designed as a closing loop for the campaign — expressing gratitude and reinforcing impact.
